Leadership, staff, and advisors each play a clear role in maintaining structure, emotional safety, and accountability throughout the Centre. From day-to-day operations to long-term planning, every person involved helps create a calm and predictable environment where men can feel supported as they begin early recovery. We work with care, clarity, and consistency, guided by a shared responsibility to the men we serve.

Leadership Team

Drew Weir

Drew Weir

Co-Founder | CEO

A serious car accident in his twenties became a turning point in Drew’s life and led him to embrace sobriety. Through recovery, he rebuilt both his personal foundation and his career as a powerline technician, grounding his life in spiritual principles and accountability. Years later, a second life-altering accident resulted in significant injuries and brought new challenges. As his health and career were deeply impacted, Drew reached another pivotal moment — one that required him to step away from his profession and re-centre his life around purpose and service. Drew lives by the principle “You can’t keep it unless you give it away,” which continues to guide his commitment to sponsoring others and supporting men through the 12-Step model. In 2018, he envisioned creating a place that could offer meaningful support to those facing addiction. That vision became a calling to transform the former detox centre on Queen Street into a healing environment rooted in dignity, structure, and care. Drew committed fully to bringing this vision to life. Today, his mission is to create a place that offers thoughtful care and education for men in recovery — driven by lived experience, deep compassion, and a belief that London needs this Centre now more than ever.

Cathy Weaver

Board Member | Advisory Board Chairperson

Retired, Sr. Vice-President, Human Resources, Canada at Canada Life Assurance Company. Through many years as an HR professional, and personally, I’ve seen the impact of addiction on an individual's work, and professional and personal relationships. The opportunity to work with Drew, Alek and their team, as well as the Advisory Board of FCHC, has helped me to better understand the strength, courage and resilience required of those facing addiction and committing to the recovery journey. My admiration and respect for those in this organization were initially sparked by the team’s genuine desire and commitment to helping those struggling with addiction in the London community. My regard has only grown as I observed Drew and Alek’s capacity to learn and tenacity to let nothing stand in the way of achieving their goal.
