Referral Pathways to Forest City Healing Centre

Referrals to Forest City Healing Centre may be initiated by:

• Community mental health and addiction agencies
• Withdrawal management services

• Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs)
• Individuals or family members, with or without professional support

Forest City Healing Centre provides a non-medical, abstinence-focused residential recovery program for adults (18+) who are medically stable and ready to engage in daily programming and community living.

Our Role Within the System of Care

Forest City Healing Centre is not a crisis service and is not a replacement for medical or emergency care. We operate as a residential step within Ontario’s broader continuum of mental health and addiction services.

Our role is to work alongside community partners, referral agencies, and public systems to support recovery stability, personal accountability, and long-term outcomes.

Forest City Healing Centre is a non-medical residential recovery program and does not provide crisis or medical services. Our admissions team works collaboratively with referral partners to determine appropriateness, readiness, and next steps on a case-by-case basis.
